I have had lots of queries recently with questions about price on our gowns and what does that include?

We include alterations to length and tweeking in the price. Any major alterations due to weight loss etc are not included.

I think this gives you a great idea for budgets as alterations can soon mount up!

Our gowns go from £850 - £3000 - with the different designers in different price brackets -

Charlotte Balbier - from £850 - £1650 with most of the gowns between £900-£1350. A fabulous selection of styles. Many have a real vintage. These gowns are in standard sizes which we fit to you perfectly.

Kate Sherford - from £1250 - £1900 - Her gowns are all handmade in Taunton. They can be bought in standard sizes or made to measure giving you the perfect fit.

Jenny Packham - from £1899 - £3000 (with us - but her gowns can go up to £14,000) Also in standard sizes, perfectly fitted to you by us.

Sassi Holford - from £1750 - £3000 - beautifully handmade in her Taunton workroom - made to measure so achieving the perfect fit.

Ian Stuart Bride - from £1800-£3000 - Amazing detail, gorgeous fabric and the most stunning cut, these gowns are so flattering. In a mouthwatering array of colours and with a made to measure option so you can get the perfect fit.

SAMPLE gowns - These are gowns which have been used in the boutique for brides to try and generally are priced up to 70% off so a real bargain.These are sized between 8-16 so giving brides the option of a gown way above their budget at a great price from £300.

We are selling our beautiful PAPILLON by Jenny Packham sample as we will soon receive PAL MA the new 2012 version of the divine Papillon.

Our sample is in very good condition and is all hand beaded with Swarovski crystals, sequins and tiny seed beads in a butterfly wing design, with it's empire line shape and lovely trailing train that follows the gown this is a stunningly gorgeous gown.

The Welsh National Wedding Awards - We won two!!!

Last night we attended the Welsh National Wedding Awards at the Parc-Y-Scarlet's in Llanelli it was a fab night and we were very excited to win NOT one but TWO awards!

We won best Bridal Jewellery for 2011 and came runner up in the Bridal Boutique category and Best Wedding Occasionwear for White Boutique!!!!

Also remember we include alterations costs on all our full price gowns so no hidden extra costs to you!

CHARLOTTE BALBIER - Charlotte's gowns go from £870 , she uses gorgeous French lace and silks and some of the best fabrics in her gowns, they are sized gowns and then we tweek these to make the fit perfect.

KATE SHERFORD - Kate's gowns are all handmade in Taunton and are from £1295 for a dress made individually for each bride in the UK, her cut is fab and her use of fabric wonderful!

JENNY PACKHAM - These gowns are all handbeaded in the most luxuriant silks, chiffons and satins with amazing beading and her prices in the boutique go from £1890 We love her cut and style and they really are very beautiful and very recognisable.

SASSI HOLFO RD - Sassi's gowns are also handmade in Taunton with her amazing use of fine fabrics and stunning corsetry these are beautifully couture cut gowns all made to measure they are stunning - her prices are from £1750.

IAN STU ART - Ian is our newest designer with the most amazing cut and detailing on his beautiful gowns, he uses French lace and sumptuous silks very beautiful and distinctly different!prices from £1800 These too are made to measure to insure the perfect fit.

SAMPLE GOWNS - We have a great range of sample gowns in sizes 10-16 and with prices from £300 these are great for brides on a budget or with very little time before their big day....

We allow 4-6months for the gowns to arrive and fit the gown 8weeks before your big day with the final fit around 2weeks before so minimising your stress. We can do rush orders in as little as 5weeks so pretty much anything is possible!

Our new 2012 gowns from our fantastic designers are arriving daily we love this time of year as we get lots of lovely deliveries and the shop is a flurry of tissue paper as we unwrap these gorgeous gowns!

We have EIGHT new gowns from Charlotte Balbier arriving any day - AVA, CLEMENTINE, PEARL, LIV, HERMOINE, HARRIET, LAVENDER and LANA all are fabulous and complement our already great range.

For Jenny Packham we have FOUR new gowns - LAUREL(Arrived today and is total gorgeous) PALMA, FOXGLOVE and ASPEN are due at the end of October.

We will soon be recieving our new Jenny Packham gowns for 2012 and they are amazing! It is such a great time with all the new gowns arriving.....

We have LAUREL a simple chiffon draping gown with beautiful beaded straps very lovely and simple.

ASPEN is an amazing gown with lace detailed back, cap sleeves and modesty panel with jewelled belt detail and simple flowing skirt cascading into a full train, our sample is in Platinum but is also available in Ivory.

PALMA is a heavily beaded gown which has a butterfly inspired design with a sleeve detail and beautiful opal beading.

FOXGLOVE is a veru 1920's inspired gown with a gorgeous sleeve detail and beautiful beading.

We had a great day today at the Pembrokeshire wedding fayre, thank you to all the brides who made a huge effort to come it was a really good show and so lovely to meet lots of new brides and see existing brides too!

Ali couldn't come as it was her Granny's 90th Birthday and her Dad's 70th so was having a lovely family weekend, so the lovely Tiggy Williams came to my rescue and she was fantastic! So a big thanks to Tiggy and as she was a White Bride only four weeks ago, she could wax-lyrical about the White Bride experience!

COPPELIA - A beautiful silk Gaza gown with Austrian roses cascading down the hip with a full train sprinkled with organza petals. The bodice is pleated and so flattering with it's gentle sweetheart.With it's simple zip and button back and Ian's great internal corset this gown is a real fairytale gown. It comes with a delicate organza wrap.

Private View with Charlotte Balbier for the 2012 collection

We were really lucky yesterday to be given a private view of Charlotte Balbiers NEW Candy Kisses collection up in Manchester.

Ali and I drove up after work on Monday through the wilds of Mid Wales and arrived LATE!!

Up bright and early the next day and with much excitement we travelled to see Charlotte.

CANDY KISSES is AMAZING. A fabulous collection with lots of different looks to satisfy so many tastes, with fantastic french lace, applique tulle and soft supple silk we are really excited!

Charlotte talked us through the collection and we ooohed and ahhhed and have made our selection which will be with us in the next couple of months so keep an eye out girls, we will put some sneak peeks on here to keep you up to date too......

In the next couple of weeks we will be recieving gowns from the amazing new collection by Ian Stuart our very exciting new designer along with all the other labels we do, Ian is a British designer based in London and we are very honoured to sell his gowns.

Family wedding - Fab Charlotte Balbier bride!

It was a very exciting week last week when I had a family wedding -

My Cousin married in the fabulous Slebech Park in the most tranquil setting.

His beautiful bride wore a stunning Charlotte Balbier gown FLO in the most divine shade of Mocca, with beautiful lace and subtle beading, we teamed the dress with a beautiful bespoke Rosie Willett hairpiece with birdcage veil which unbuttoned for the reception.

It was a real family affair with my Auntie and Cousin doing the amazing flowers and Johnthan and his two best men arriving in the Fire-engine he usually drives it was a very special wedding!

Ian Stuart Bride create beautiful gowns in unusual and sumptuous fabrics using colour and texture like no other designer. He has be voted bridal designer of the year in 2004,2005,2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010.

Well it was the other big Kate wedding of the year and I think Kate Moss looked amazing in her John Galliano bias cut gown adorned with sequins and Swarovski crystals in a beautiful peacock feather design.

I loved her veil too, quite traditional for such a boho girl and I think will inspire a lot of others with this look.

We think that Jenny Packham does this look so well with EDEN and PAPILLON very similar in look and with the new collections for 2012 also very embelished you girls can rock this look......

White Gallery - New for 2012

Ali and I had a great time at the WHITE GALLERY in London a couple of weeks ago looking at all the new designs from our designers for 2012.

There were lots of influences from the royal wedding with long lace sleeves definately featuring, lots of silk Gazar - the fabric of Kate's day and evening gown and some beautiful slinky numbers a la Pippa!

We also found the bridal a new very fabulous designer who will be in store from September this year- Ali and I are bursting to reveal all but will keep quiet for now and keep you in suspense for a while longer - all we can say is that they are a big name and fabulous at what they do........

Style wise Jenny Packham created some beautifully intricate beaded gowns with some fantastic new shapes and updates of gowns we love which is really exciting.

Sassi Holford's gowns were the ultimate in elegance with some really beautiful shapes and you can see a sneek peek in the picture with Ali and I in the foreground concentrating hard!

Stephanie Allin created an amazing glamorous collection with some fantastic details which are querky and original but so wearable for brides.

Willow has a deep v neckline front and back with an empire line of daisies, the dress is fitted until the upper hip then falls fluidly to a puddle train. It is a bohemian gown with divine flueted sleeves with daisies round the edge and lovely covered buttons down the back, as always with Sassi's gowns the gown has fabulous corsetry.

This is our next new sample gown - FEARNE is a silk supreme gown with a deep v neckline with lace detail the gown has wide straps creating a very flattering neckline. the bodice is fully corseted and falls into a asymetric waistline and full aline skirt with amazing beaded lace underskirt - it is a real showstopper of a gown with the fine beaded petals extending onto the bodice.

Our sample is a size KS14 or a highstreet size 12/14 and is in PERFECT condition, it would normally sell for £2150 and our sample is £1200.

We are soon going buying for the new collections for 2012 and need to start to make room for these new gowns so are adding more to our SAMPLE SALE .

This wonderful lace gown by Sassi Holford is a small size 12, it is made from beautiful fine lace with a straight neckline and fitted bodice the gown fits over the hips into a godeted skirt with a puddle train.

The gown has beautiful sleevelets with a keyhole back detail and can be removed for the evening for a different look, this gown is in PERFECT condition and would sell for £2350 our sample is £1175.

William and Cathrine - A magical day!

Well, it was the most lovely day and I think we can safely say the DRESS was fabulous!

Sarah Burton the head designer at Alexander McQueen did an amazing job ,the lace and silk Ivory Grace Kelly inspired dress was so beautiful and perfect for the day.

The lace was handmade in Hampton court by the Royal School of Needlework, the design was made up of Roses, Thistles, Shamrock and Daffodils all beautifully entwined, the bodice was a sweetheart neck with the devine lace over the top and fitted with 58 tiny covered buttons down the back and on the sleeves. The skirt is made from silk gazar which is a heavy silk satin with the divine lace at the bottom growing up the gown. The train was 2m 70cm long and fell beautifully, not too long!
Her veil was silk tulle with the same lace trimming the edge falling to her fingertips.

The Tiara was the Queens.

Pippa Middleton looked amazing too - her dress was also designed by Sarah Burton and was satin backed crepe bias cut gown fell beautifully, the same lace trimmed the sleeves and the cowl neckline and she too had lovely covered buttons, it was white and complemented Kate's dress beautifully.

The little bridesmaids wore very traditional gowns by Nicky McFarlane in silk with the same Cluny lace trim and wide gold sashes.

Cathrine's second gown was the ultimate in glamour again by Sarah Burton the silk Gazar gown was strapless with a wonderful wide jewelled belt - this time in pure white.

I think we call all get a bit inspired by the simple elegance of the day - the temptation must have been to go bigger or longer but Kate stuck to her true style and it worked she looked like herself but the best and most beautiful she could - just as any bride wants to look, it's a great way to think about your wedding day!

West Wales Wedding Fayre

We had a great day meeting lots of new brides at the West Wales Wedding Fayre yesterday.

It was a much smaller exhibition than the Pembrokeshire wedding fayre with businesses from outside of the County showing at the showground in Haverfordwest ,with businesses from Carmathen, Llandeilo, Cardiff, and Swansea it gave the Pembrokeshire businesses a great bit of competition!

we were joined at the show by some fantastic Pembrokeshire businesses - Cakes by Karlos, Seren Style and the Makeup lady, Cutters and Cakes and O&C Photography who took these fab pic's see more on their blog.....

We did a catwalk show and really enjoyed working with Rachel and Lynn for the second time this week after the great shoot we did for Lamphey Court.

Models were Natalie Hunt who you may recognise from our other fashion show's and shoots and Nici Ridge, both did a great job - thank you girls!

Radio Pembrokeshire reported from the show which was really fun to chat to them.

Ali and I had a great time meeting new and existing brides and hope these pic's inspire those who missed the show....

The West Wales Wedding Fair - Sunday 27th March

This Sunday we will be attending the West Wales wedding fayre at the showground in Withybush. it is a new show to Pembrokeshire which is very exciting!

Plus we will be showing lots of our fab gowns on the Catwalk which will be shown at 12pm and 2pm.

This wedding fair is different from the other show which we attended a couple of weeks ago in that businesses from out of Pembrokeshire will be exhibiting from all over Wales, alongside lots of fabulous Pembrokeshire businesses.

Well the sun is out and spring is here and so is the start of the wedding season!

We are really busy in the boutique with new brides coming in to see the collections and fittings for brides getting married in April and May which makes for a lovely atmosphere.

At the moment we are getting lots of brides sorting out accessories too which is so much fun - so I thought I would tell you about the latest trends in accessory styles.

We find that Brides are going for hairbands with detail on the side more than the classic tiara, it creates a modern and contemporary look. Flowers are bigger than ever this year and we have a great selection of beautiful silk flowers which are romantic and feminine.
